Hello
Hi, I'm Jessyca (but most people call me JC).
I created Settle-In Home Consulting because I believe everyone deserves a space that feels welcoming, functional, and uniquely theirs.
Whether you're a homeowner settling into a new chapter or a business creating an environment people love to be in, my goal is simple: help you create spaces that feel like home.
The Heart Behind Settle - In
Born and raised in the South, I grew up with the heart of a helper and the hustle of a homegrown real estate kid. With two educator parents and a dad who worked as a real estate broker, I spent my childhood creating colorful bulletin boards, running through open houses, and learning firsthand what makes a house feel like home.
I studied English Language & Literature and later earned my MBA because I've always believed creativity and strategy belong together. My professional background includes working closely with builders, designers, homeowners, and businesses, helping bring projects to life while learning the importance of creating spaces that are both functional and meaningful.
Over the years, I realized what I enjoyed most wasn't just the products or projects—it was helping people feel comfortable, confident, and settled in their spaces. That passion inspired me to create Settle-In Home Consulting.
Today, I help homeowners and businesses create warm, functional, and stylish environments by maximizing what they already have and thoughtfully incorporating what they need. Because the best spaces aren't perfect showrooms—they're the places where people gather, connect, work, celebrate, and truly live.
To me, great design is about more than furniture and décor. It's good lighting, smart storage, inviting gathering spaces, and thoughtful details that make everyday life easier and more enjoyable. It's creating spaces that feel welcoming the moment you walk through the door.
When I'm not reimagining spaces, you'll usually find me writing, trying a new recipe, spending time with family and friends, working in the garden, or enjoying a live concert. I believe joy lives in the details, and that philosophy guides everything I do.
My goal is simple: to help you create a space that feels like you—one where you can truly settle in.
